Okay, so as we all know the dangerous Coronavirus, COVID19, SARS-COV2, whatever you want its name to be has been spreading around like wildfire. This is quite a dangerous beast right now, it's affected everything from people's health to the stock markets plummeting thousands of points per day. I cannot stand this whatsoever, it's annoying, it's troubling, it's saddening and disheartening. I don't like seeing problems like this arise, but this is indeed how life goes sometimes.
Now how will this affect me here at my home studio? Currently, I still plan to receive client work, mostly remotely if possible with mixing, mastering and beat sales, but I will still be open to the public to come record vocals in my studio. One thing to note with this though, though I may have my studio up and running, this means I will have to limit how many people may come in at any given time, in the meantime, I'm thinking I have to keep it down to 2 to 3 people in the studio with me at the absolute max. I've had upwards of 9 people in my studio at one time including myself, but I have to minimize potential risk right now, not only to myself but my family in my home as well.
As I said, this will not impede the operation of Studio 7-22 LLC, but I will have to take at least some kind of measures to minimize the risk by at least some level.
NOTE OF THINGS TO COME:
Here on my blog, I have a couple of articles I plan to write. I currently have a couple of gear reviews in mind. Over the last 12 months, I've purchased quite a bit of gear and I want to do reviews on all of them. I had reviews on my last website, it still had the same URL, it was just with a different provider at the time, but this will definitely give me an opportunity to write new reviews with more detailed and more well thought out opinions. I am exceptionally impressed by the gear I've purchased and I look forward to telling you all about it!
I'm also starting to maybe get into "Beat Cook-ups", these are where I produce a beat from scratch on camera, start to finish or at least as finished as I can get before my ears need a rest. So if you look out on my YouTube Channel and Instagram you might see some new content regarding those soon!
If you've made it this far, this is the end of the article, I want to thank you for taking the time to read this and I'll do my best to write more often.
