Shootin' the Shit - Needing a Refresh (Getting Organized)

Okay, okay, okay, I get it, you're not as interested in me talking about getting organized as much as you are music stuff in general, but this relates to music AND studio stuff in a general sense. If you've (obviously) seen my website it's been through another revamp. I don't know for like the 5th time or some shit like that. So you see I'm making some changes to the face of my business.

Along with these changes to my website I reorganized my studio a bit, moved my computer further off to the side and placed my rack a little further out of the way. So far I'm liking the new bit of cleanup and reorganization I've done, things feel smoother and a tad bit more streamlined. Also over the last couple of weeks I've taken some time to reorganize my system of keeping files for artists. So now I have it organized by Artist > Month > Project Name > Song Name.

Now that the boring stuff is out of the way I'll talk a bit about what's been going on in the studio lately. So far I've had about four more new clients come through and they seem to be repeat customers so that's good, steady money flow for sure. I've had a guy named Deante (GI Jones) come through who is an exceptional R&B Singer, his friend Gary is also a damn good rapper. I've had another guy named Eric who is a Spanish-Mexican singer and that's a genre I've had no experience with before, but I'm finding it interesting to work in so, yay me! He's got a great voice on him as well, he has excellent projection for sure. I've also had another R&B Singer who has a lot of potentials, so I'm working to kind of develop him.

So yeah a string of new clients and some other recent ones coming back my way, I have a client I do mixing and mastering for from time to time, and I like his music, he's out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, he goes by Savya Worldwide.

So as you can see I've been a busy little bee these last couple of weeks. It's been fun getting my life more together than it's been.

Anyway, I'm going to check out for this week and I'm going to try to do a Vlog format on YouTube as well as blog posts here on my website. I'll try to get regular content up and going so I have a way to "Promote" myself as well as probably help others get their stuff promoted and all that jazz.
